The rules for web2 links, what we block, and how to appeal.
The two halves of what we give you behave differently. Your Web3 domain is an on-chain token in your own custody. We cannot take it, and no registrar can. The .virtualsociety.top web2 link is a service we operate on our own infrastructure, and like any service it comes with rules.
When we give a holder a link such as stunning.virtualsociety.top, it resolves to whatever that holder publishes on their Web3 name. We fetch it, rewrite the references so a browser can follow them, and serve it. We do not host the content and we do not control it, but we do control the address people reach it through.
That distinction is the whole basis of this policy. We can withdraw our link at any time. We cannot withdraw the domain.
A link is blocked, without notice in advance, where content is:
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Report | Anyone may report through our report form. Reports are not verified automatically, so one report never removes a site on its own. |
| Review | We check the reported site against this policy. The holder is contacted where we can identify them. |
| Suspend | If the content breaches, the .virtualsociety.top link stops resolving. The holder sees why. |
| Appeal | The holder may reply to the notice. A suspension for a first offence is normally lifted once the material is removed. Repeat breaches may be refused. |
| Terminate | Persistent or severe breach means no further web2 links for that holder. |
Where the law requires it, such as a valid copyright or court order, we act without prior notice.
Suspending a web2 link never touches the holder's Web3 domain. It stays in their custody and keeps resolving on Noto network DNS, in wallets and browsers that support Web3 naming. What they lose is the ordinary web address, and with it the traffic that came through us. If a holder believes a suspension was wrong, the appeal above is the route to get it reversed.
Report through the form for anything on this page. Copyright claims may also go directly to abuse@virtualsociety.top and should include the work being claimed, your contact details, and a good-faith statement.
We keep reports for as long as needed to act on them and to defend any decision, and share them only where the law requires it.
