Report illegal content

Found material on a site we serve a web2 link for? Tell us here.

Where to report

Use the form below, or email us directly at abuse@virtualsociety.top. The form is the better route because it gives you a reference number.

Reports go to a monitored abuse inbox. Copyright and legal claims may go to the same address.

Reports are reviewed, not automatic. Submitting this form does not remove a site. Anyone can send a report, so acting on unverified claims would let any passer-by take down any site on the namespace. A report is queued, and we block a link once a human has confirmed it.

If a report concerns an immediate risk to anyone's safety, contact law enforcement first, then send us the case reference.

The .virtualsociety.top address, or the Web3 name it serves.

For copyright, name the work and its owner. For anything else, describe what you saw.

So we can ask a follow-up question if the report is unclear.

What happens next

  1. We receive the report with a reference you can quote.
  2. We check the site against our acceptable use policy.
  3. If it breaches, the web2 link is blocked and the holder is told why and how to appeal.
  4. The holder's Web3 domain is untouched. It is their asset, and blocking our link does not take it from them.

Copyright

Claims about copyrighted work can be sent to abuse@virtualsociety.top. Include the work, your contact details, and a good-faith statement, and we will act on a valid claim.
